it’s #christmastimewithlaura and today I wanna show you how to make your own christmas cards. I love sending Christmas cards to my family and friends. I always do them by myself and I think that is such a nice and personal gift. So put your favorite Christmas music on an lets get started…😊
I’ve been using a card I already had as my pattern. Just put the card on the cardboard and draw around. I wanted some cards that I could fold, that’s way I doubled the size. Now you only need to cut it out and fold it in the middle.
For the first card I took the card I earlier used as pattern and drew it on the wrapping paper, so you get the same shape and size as your plain card. Cut it out and glue it on your card. Now measure out the length and the height of you card and transfer it to your ribbon. I choosed a gold and a white one and glued the white on on top of the gold one. After that I glued them on the card to create the look of a present. I did a little bow out of the gold ribbon and cut out a gift tag and glued both on the card.
I think it looks really cute and festive and it is really easy to make.
For this card take the same base as for the card we did before. This card is so easy to make you only need 3 strips of ribbon in different lengths. After that you need to cut out 3 ornaments. I used some wrapping paper to make it look even more festive. I used white cardboard to create a little tag and imitate snow.
For my last card I choosed a different shape. My boyfriend was so mind to draw this christmas tree for me, ’cause I just can’t draw 🙈 cut out you tree and glue little bows on it. Done!🎄
See you on Sunday xoxo
